About the County Clerk

My name is Linda M. Buttron and I am currently serving the citizens of Jefferson County as Clerk/Election Officer and as a member of the Information Technology Team. I was appointed to this position in February 2000 and officially elected in November 2000. Prior to that time I had been employed by Jefferson County since 1982.

I have lived in Jefferson County all my life. I was raised south of Oskaloosa near the current location of Perry Reservoir. When the lake was built my family moved to the Dunavant area as our farm land was taken by the Corp of Engineer's for the lake.

My family and I are currently residents of the Nortonville Community.
